Recording completed for “Sing Your Song” CD!

The Amabile Choirs of London, Canada wrapped up the recording of their new CD this past weekend.

Thanks to the amazing choristers, the artistic directors, accompanists, volunteers, composer Matthew Emery and engineer/co-producer Geoff Warder who spent countless hours ensuring that every note was crystal clear, every phrase was letter perfect and every take was better than the previous one! For many singers it was their first glimpse into the world of music recording, not realizing what a strict process it is! Thank you all for your patience!

Thanks also to Tam Rees for producing this incredible look inside two weekends of recording:

Now comes the task for searching through the takes to stitch together a tapestry of music, that will become our newest CD! The 16 tracks are evocative of varied moods, experiences, influences from across Canada the world, and heartfelt melodies. You won’t want to miss being a part of this opportunity!

We need your help going forward with this significant project. Once the mastering of the recording is completed, we’ll share one of the tracks with all of our champions. There are a variety of perks to acknowledge the generous support of our champions at different levels of support – and with each gift and each perk, the donor receives a Canadian income tax-deductible receipt.
