Atlantic BoyChoir joins Amabile Boys & Men for Free Concert

Atlantic BoyChoir – the only Provincial BoyChoir in Canada – are in London this week and capping off their 5-day visit with a Free Concert. Our Atlantic guests will join the Amabile Treble Concert Choir and Young Men’s Ensemble of the Amabile Boys and Men’s Choir for one great performance.

Join us for the FREE concert this afternoon: Sunday April 23rd – 2:30 at First-St. Andrew’s United Church, 350 Queen’s Ave., London. There is NO Admission charge, but donations will be accepted.

Amabile “Volunteer Service Award” recipients!

Happy National Volunteer Week and Thank You for supporting Amabile Choirs! Congratulations also to the Amabile Choirs volunteers who were awarded with an Ontario Volunteer Service Award (OVSA) this spring for their commitment to making great music!

The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration annually honours volunteers who provide committed and dedicated service to an organization.  The awards were presented at a special ceremony Friday March 17,2016 at the Hellenic Community Centre.

Guest Speaker for the two evening ceremonies was Amabile Choirs Funds Development Officer Chris Harding.

Thank You and Congratulations also to Angie Jewlal (ABMC volunteer), Jennifer Swan (JAS volunteer) Alice Tschen (AYS volunteer) and Karen Glajch (ABMC volunteer) who were unable to attend the ceremony and will receive their Certificates of Honour and Ontario Government lapel pins at a later date.
