Bon Voyage .. Off to Italy!

Our Young Women’s Touring Choir is heading off to Italy at the beginning of July and we couldn’t have them going away without a proper send off! Inspirational Canadian and Italian sacred music set the scene on June 25 when the Amabile Young Women’s Ensemble presented Bon Voyage: Off to Italy! Wonderful to perform for enthusiastic faithful patrons and new faces in the audience. We look forward to sharing the musical talents of our choristers and rich Canadian choral heritage with our Italian audiences while on tour from July 5-16. Sure to be a highlight will be singing at St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican!

Amabile Wrap Season 2018-2019

That is a wrap on our 2018-2019 season! We started our season way back in October, and had our final concert of the season a few days ago with our Amabile Young Women’s Touring Choir’s Bon Voyage … Italy concert. We’ve had quite the season, beginning with out various choir camps, our collaborative Francophone Festival, to our 29th Amabile Festival where we had the honour of once again working with renowned humanitarian, conductor-composer Jim Papoulis. Over the last 8 months we have made wonderful memories, and created lasting impacts with our choristers and our community. On behalf of the 275 singers and countless volunteers who helped make this season the success that it was, we would like to extend our most sincere thanks to all our supporters who came to all our events this year. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. See you in the fall when we celebrate our 35th Anniversary Season!
