As our Amabile 35th anniversary season comes to a unique and most unusual close, we extend our sincere appreciation to every chorister, their families, our artistic staff, our thousands of alumni, our valued audience members, and the members of the past and present Amabile Board(s) of Directors for your support. Each and every one of you has helped to put the Amabile Choirs of London, Canada on the local and world map as a nationally and internationally renowned organization of artistic education and excellence.
The Amabile Choirs have risen to such artistic excellence because of our creative vision of enriching and celebrating our community, one voice at a time. As we look forward to a new and reimagined future, we assure you that our mission will continue to enact that vision in new and creative ways to continue to offer excellence in arts education for our singers and to bring innovative programs to our community and the world.
This is a particularly poignant and reflective time where more than ever inclusivity and allyship are needed so that all people feel safe to live and be their authentic selves. Our Amabile Choirs continue to seek ways to connect, to promote social justice, and to embrace our diverse community through the healing powers of song. Today, Amabile Choirs releases our virtual recording of Ruth Moody’s ONE VOICE, as arranged by the Canadian group, the Wailin Jennys.
The message is clear – we, as Canadians, are the sound and spirit of one voice, helping each make it through – singing with love. WE ARE ONE PEOPLE, ONE VOICE.
