Anne of Green Gables: A Cabaret-Style Fundraising Luncheon Event

On October 27th the Amabile Youth Singers & Prima: Amabile Women’s Choir hosted Harvest Luncheon: Anne of Green Gables Fundraiser. The event was the first event of the 35th Anniversary Season and it was a beautiful way to kick off the season. Featuring great food, and good music the Amabile Youth Singers and Prima: Amabile Women’s Choir performed a great selections of songs that reminded us what it felt like to be down by the eastern shore.

There were many beautiful, unique and fun auction items that went home with our wonderful supporters, as well as some live auction items that had the room jumping with bids.

Congratulations to all the individuals who won their silent auction bids; and to individuals who won the live auction items of: Michael Kors Sunglasses (courtesy of Central Optometry); and tickets to Billy Elliot at the Stratford Festival and dinner at Dolcetto Risto; as well as the lucky individual winners of the wine draw (including 12 bottles of red and white wine and a selection of craft beers) and the 50/50 draw! Thank you to all who donated to our silent auction.
