Presented by the Amabile Da Capo Choir & the Junior Amabile Singers, December in Our Town is a multicultural celebration of the season that includes some of the holiday traditions from cultures around the world. Join us as we share in the wonder, joy and diversity that this time of year has to offer!
On Saturday, December 7, 2019 our Junior Amabile Singers and Amabile Da Capo choir kicked off our Holiday Concert Series with a rousing opening number that set the excited tone for a full house that lasted for the rest of the concert! December in Our Town featured traditional holiday songs from Sweden to Puerto Rico, from Italy to Nigeria, our girls truly gave us a multicultural look at how the holiday spirit is celebrated around the globe!
We would to thank the following individuals for their help in making this concert as wonderful as it was: conductors Jackie Norman and Wendy Landon; our accompanist Rachel Wohlgemut, our wonderful volunteers and choir executive team for their dedication and hard-work, and our JAS and Da Capo singers for their dedication, hard-work and enthusiasm! You girls did a beautiful job! We’d also like to thank all those in attendance, for coming out to support the Amabile family! Your support greatly appreciated and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
